Expectation vs. Reality

By: 0

I want to talk to you all about expectations, versus reality. The expectation tends to be that if I workout, I should lose weight. The reality is that if you do not change your diet, exercise alone most likely will not do the trick.  If you come to the gym 6 days a week, which most of you do not, that equates to 6 hrs. There are 162 more unanswered for hours remaining in the week. What you do in that time ultimately determines what your outcome will be. At the end of the day there has to be a deficit in your calorie consumption/ to energy spent ratio. This process takes time. Its recommended to lose 1lb of fat each week, in order to do some you need to consume 3,500 calories less/ or burn 3,500 calories more than you eat, each week.

Let’s make some changes in the next couple of months, and let us help you. If you need help with nutrition, and want a nutrition coach, talk to us. For those of you that did not sign up for the body fat composition, they are coming back on November 16th. All in all, here is your chance to make changes so that when they come back, they can tell you something that you want to hear.

Keep fighting the good fight, keep showing up, keep a positive mindset, keep in mind that changes at home have to be made.
